About Us

The Party Stops Here provides themed parties and special events for children in Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area. We will plan, organize and facilitate your party, if desired, so you don't have to lift a finger. Enrich your child's party experience with glittery face painting, light make-up, hair up-dos, music, dancing, singing, games and crafts. A party experience that is visually beautiful and unique while also being fun and engaging. A celebration that is sure to wow your guests!

Kim Snyder is a certified teacher with most of her teaching experience in the early childhood and early elementary grade levels. Kim majored in Deaf Education at Illinois State University and is fluent in sign language.  In combination with past teaching experiences and working with children, Kim gets most of her inspiration from her three young children, Hunter, Brody and Soleil. They are the light of her life.

The Party Stops Here originated in 2011 after countless hours of planning and research. Kim was excited to bring something new to the area that she felt was not currently available. Every year, Kim found it a challenge to find a fresh idea for a new party. The Party Stops Here was designed to provide a unique party experience for children and for the parent who wants to plan a memorable event for their child. We strive to deliver convenience by bringing the party to you. Our goal is to make each child feel special by providing a fun, interactive, unique experience that they will remember for years to come!
